CognitiveTPG Product Warranty Terms and Conditions
Standard Warranty Coverage
15-Month Limited Warranty
CognitiveTPG warrants its printers to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of fifteen (15) months from the date of original purchase.
What's Covered:
- Defects in materials
- Defects in workmanship
- Electronic component failures under normal use
- Mechanical component failures under normal use
Extended Warranty Options:
Extended warranty coverage is available for purchase. Contact your authorized reseller or CognitiveTPG sales for details.
Printhead Warranty
The thermal printhead is warranted for the lesser of:
- 15 months from date of purchase, OR
- The rated life of the printhead (varies by model)
Printhead Life Ratings:

Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence
- Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage from use of non-approved media or supplies
- Normal wear and tear (including printhead wear from normal use)
- Consumable items (paper, ribbons, labels)
- Damage from power surges or improper electrical connections
- Damage from exposure to liquids (unless printer has Spill Guard option)
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers
- Damage during shipping (file claim with carrier)
Warranty Service
How to Obtain Warranty Service:
- Contact Support: Call 312-796-6786 or email support@cognitivetpg.com
- Troubleshooting: Our technicians will help diagnose the issue
- RMA Authorization: If repair is needed, you'll receive an RMA number
- Ship Product: Send the printer to our service center (prepaid)
- Repair/Replace: We will repair or replace the product
- Return Shipping: Repaired product shipped back at no charge
Required Information:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Date of purchase
- Description of the problem
- Proof of purchase (if requested)
Limitation of Liability
CognitiveTPG's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product, at CognitiveTPG's sole discretion.
IN NO EVENT SHALL COGNITIVETPG BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction.
